Jacuzzi® is excited to announce that it is the newest associate club sponsor for reigning Super League Champions, Leeds Rhinos.
Jacuzzi®’s UK base is just outside of Leeds city centre and the showroom has become a real hotspot for Rhinos players looking to alleviate strains and muscle tension from their rigorous rugby games with hydrotherapy.
This highly anticipated partnership highlights the synergy between sports and hydro massage products, as Jacuzzi® hot tubs will be used by the players under the direction of the Rhinos physiotherapy team as part of their training and recovery programme. Hydrotherapy and the use of changing water temperatures and pressures is a common practise for champion sports stars, such as the Leeds Rhinos, in order to keep their bodies in peak physical condition.
Jacuzzi® begins its sponsorship at the start of the 2016 season in February.
Find out more about the benefits of hydrotherapy and which hot tub might be best for you at one of our many UK showrooms, found by using the Jacuzzi® dealer locator. You can also visit the Rhinos’ go-to showroom in Leeds at Old Mill Lane, Low Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS10 1RB.
Speaking about his recovery routine, Rhinos player Ryan Hall says: “Unwinding in a Jacuzzi® is often the best moment of my day after a tough training session with the boys. The jets in the tub help prevent my back from becoming sore, which helps to keep me on top form.”
Rob Oates, Commercial Director at Leeds Rhinos, said: “Many of our players are already fans of Jacuzzi® and with the brand’s UK flagship showroom being based in Leeds, it made sense for us to team up. We’re looking forward to working with such a big global brand throughout the season!”
Paul Farrell, Jacuzzi® UK’s Marketing Manager, said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with the Rhinos during such an important year for them as they prepare to defend their titles. This is a great opportunity for Jacuzzi® to raise our awareness within Leeds and beyond. “We’re looking to move away from some industry stereotypes and actually inform people about the very real benefits of hot tubs, but have some fun whilst doing so! They are leaders in the sport of rugby league and we are leaders in hot tubs – we’re excited to be working together.”
