The oldest of the JACUZZI® brand UK trade marks was registered back in 1965. As a result of the marketing and promotion of the JACUZZI® brand and its substantial and continuous use in commerce by us and our group of companies for over 50 years, the JACUZZI® trade mark has become famous, such that it is associated by consumers and the trade with us and with our group of companies.
Genuine product of the Jacuzzi group of companies prominently carries the JACUZZI® brand logo, so that it can be clearly differentiated from the products of our competitors. So if any product does not carry the JACUZZI® brand name or logo you will know that it is not a genuine Jacuzzi group product.

What is a trade mark?
Trade marks are words, symbols, designs and logos that inform consumers they are purchasing a product or service originating from a particular company. For instance, any time you see the JACUZZI® trade mark, you will know that the product was manufactured and/or supplied through a Jacuzzi group company or a licensed company adhering to our quality standards.
Proper use of the JACUZZI® trade mark
Proper use of trade marks involves a handful of basic rules. Proper trade mark use is important to us because it educates our consumers, the trade and the general public as to the origin of our products and services, and it avoids confusion and the risk of the public being deceived as to what/whose product they are buying. In order to protect and preserve the value of our trade marks, and to ensure that people who wish to buy or use our products can be certain as to when they are and are not doing so, we ask that the general rules below should be followed when the JACUZZI® trade mark is used.
- The JACUZZI® trade mark is not, and should never be used as, the name of any product (i.e. as a noun)
- Trade marks are adjectives intended to identify a particular company, or group of related companies, as the source or indication of origin of a product. When being used in relation to products, trade marks should always therefore be used with the correct generic product name for the product item.
eg: "You can view our entire line of JACUZZI whirlpool baths on our website at www.jacuzzi.co.uk", or "Let's sit in the JACUZZI Hot Tub". - Trade marks should not be pluralised, instead please use the plural form of the generic product name.
eg: "All the hotel rooms have JACUZZI whirlpool baths in them", or instead say "Each hotel room features a JACUZZI whirlpool bath". - Trade marks should always start with a capital letter, and should preferably be capitalised throughout or be distinguished in some other way from the surrounding text.
Please help us to protect the JACUZZI® brand and trade mark. If you see a product labelled "Jacuzzi" that does not carry our logo, then it is not a genuine Jacuzzi branded product. We would like to know about any such cases. Similarly we would like to know of any instances of which you become aware, of organisations or people using our trade mark in an inappropriate way, for example as the name of any product itself. If you see a misuse like this of our brand name, we would be grateful if you reported it to us on the email address below, providing the following information:
Type of establishment - (eg hotel, leisure centre)
Name and address of establishment
Date you observed the misuse
For magazines, TV, Radio, catalogues and other periodicals please include the name of the magazine, TV Show, movie or radio advertisement and the approximate date of issue / airing.
We appreciate your assistance.
